Who Is Lois Sonstegard?

Lois Sonstegard, Ph.D. is founder of Build2Morrow, a business coaching and consulting company that works with visionary leaders who want to inspire people and impact lives. My mission is to use pragmatic coaching practices which enable successful people achieve positive, lasting change in behavior; for themselves, their people, and their teams. She has over thirty years of experience in international business, global business development, health care organization and delivery systems.

Lois is certified as a coach by Marshall Goldsmith, College of Executive Coaches, Gallup, Leadership Circle. Her coaching focuses on how to make work life better while achieving extraordinary results. 

Lois focuses on beliefs and attitudes which impact communication and she focuses on how to navigate communication and perception gaps among work groups so that desired outcomes are achieved. Her processes are simple and pragmatic and achieve sustainable behavior change.

SESSION 1

KNOW YOUR MISSION: YOUR LIFE'S PURPOSE
KNOW WHY YOU DO WHAT YOU DO

When you think of incredible leaders, who comes to mind? Is is the likes of Winston Churchill, Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Theresa?

I'm sure you can name more.

  • Each are very different personalities. They have characteristics in common.
  • They inspired people to act, to become and do more.  
  • ​They were magnetic. 
  • ​They compel us to see the world differently. 
  • ​They were certain about their mission and purpose in life. They knew their destiny. They knew who they were and why they did what they did.

Leaders who lead and make a profound difference in the lives of those around them know who they are and why they do what they do.  

This session gives you the opportunity to discover and articulate why you do
 what you do. It is foundational to everything in leadership.

SESSION 2

kNOW YOUR sTRENGTHS:  WHAT THEY ARE AND HOW YOU CAN USE THEM TO MAXIMIZE YOUR POTENTIAL.
In this session you will learn:
  • What your top 5 strengths are
  • How to use your strengths to eliminate roadblocks and diminish the perception gap
  • ​Strategies for effectively using your Strengths and those of your team

Why is it important to know your strengths?

You are 1 in 33 million people!! You are unique!
These are the odds that someone shares the same Signature Themes (Strengths) as their “Top 5” as you.
Gallup research indicates that your greatest room for overall personal improvement isn’t where you’re weakest, but rather where you’re strongest.
Research shows that people who know and use their Strengths are:

  • More engaged at work
  • More productive in their roles
  • ​Happier and healthier

Whether you're looking to improve yourself or if you're a leader wanting to empower your people to perform better, your efforts start with knowing your strengths and understanding how to use them effectively.

SESSION 3

ManagE the DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE AND WHAT OTHERS THINK YOU ARE by Knowing YOUR PERSONALITY STYLE AND HOW IT IMPACTS YOUR RELATIONSHIPS
In this session you will learn:
  • To identify YOUR personality style, how you can use it effectively, and how it can be misperceived.
  • ​To Discover strategies for using your personality style effectively.
  • ​To identify the personality styles of others and how you can position yourself for effective communication and teamwork.
  • How to build effective relationships at work, at home, and with colleagues.

Program Components of the Everything DiSC Assessment include:

  • Powered and proven by 40+ years of research
  • ​Builds the foundation for an ongoing personalized learning experience
  • ​Allows you to go deeper into your DiSC® style and develop new skills
  • Offers real-time tips for more effective interactions with your colleagues
  • ​Provides your DiSC style, insights into yourself and others, and provides actionable strategies for building better relationships

SESSION 4

Wrap-Up and Summary
In this session you will learn:
  • To build strategies that will enable you to fulfill your WHY and to accomplish what You are meant to be and do.
  • Identify how you will use your strengths to accomplish your purpose--your WHY.
  • ​Identify how your unique personality traits can be effectively used to accomplish your WHY or purpose in life.
  • ​Develop and ACTION PLAN that will enable you to LIVE YOUR WHY.

I truly believe if you take massive action now you will thrive in your career. First, you need to defeat procrastination and simply get started. Second, with proven tools in your wheelhouse you will have the needed skills to navigate even the biggest challenges. This course is designed to provide you strategies that will help you overcome challenges you face.
